Kadın Sorunlarını Araştırma Derneği

Association of Womens’ Issues (KSAD) established in May 6th 1998 is a local NGO providing education and training for illiterate women, and socially and economically disadvantaged groups. It is a registrated association (code #: 27-07-169) cooperating with other women organizations such as Gaziantep Branch of Turkish Association of University Women, Research and Application Center for Women’s Issues of the University of Gaziantep, in local level.

Our members are mostly academic and administrative staff of the University of Gaziantep. The subject areas of our members are as follows: Five in medical sciences, six in educational sciences, three in engineering, six in economics, two lawyers, one in basic sciences, two business women, three in art/literature in our association. The Administrative Board consists of seven members, President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Accountant plus three other members. One retired primary school teacher is responsible from illiteracy courses.
